This assignment is based on a systematic literature review on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal tech. The research addresses the main question— the current state of AI in legal tech. The review encompasses 94 papers, categorized into publication trends, AI applications, legal domains, AI technologies, and benefits, challenges, & and limitations. In this Master's assignment students will focus on the application of generative AI in the law application and execution.

In general, the Predominant focus can be lawyers, with some attention to justice, clients, government & and lawmakers, and law enforcement.

AI in legal tech offers improved efficiency, accuracy, cost reduction, time-savings, increased revenue, and quality enhancement. Potential challenges include liability concerns, privacy risks, complexity, development costs, law firm structure constraints, and the irreplaceability of human input but how does it work in Asian countries? Do the legal system and procedures need a redesign because of the evolving nature of science?

The research delves into the analysis of historical cases using new technologies, offering insights into the future trajectory of AI within legal tech. Additionally, the assignment explores the implications of diverse legal systems, adding depth to the overall analysis.
