On October 14 Jessica Steinberger received the best PhD thesis award at the Fachbereichstags Informatik (FBTI) in Trier. The FTBI represents over 60 Computer Science groups and faculties at German universities of Applied Science, with in total more than 100 study programs and around 1000 professors and 30.000 students. The title of her thesis was: Distributed DDoS Defence - a collaborative approach at Internet scale.
Jessica was a joint PhD student of the University of Applied Science Darmstadt and the DACS group of the University of Twente and defended her thesis on 19th September 2018.
