Try out your favourite study before making your study choice! Did you get seriously enthusiastic about one of our master's or bachelor's? A selection of our studies offers you the possibility to attend a Taster Day. 

Attending a Taster Day on our campus offers you a unique sneak preview of the study programme of your interest. In a three-hour session, you will follow a deepening programme prepared by your future lecturers and our students, exclusively organised for you and your fellow prospective students. The Taster Day takes place on campus unless otherwise indicated.

Doe iets wat ertoe doet! Wil je meer weten over de mogelijkheden om leraar wiskunde, scheikunde, natuurkunde, informatica of onderzoek & ontwerpen te worden? Tijdens deze avond krijg je meer informatie over de lerarenopleiding van Universiteit Twente en kun je al je vragen stellen.

Deze informatieavond is geschikt voor WO-bachelorstudenten in een technische richting en voor zij-instromers met een relevante technische WO-bachelor of master.

Ben je werkzaam in het onderwijs en wil je graag je eerstegraads lesbevoegdheid halen in Wiskunde, Scheikunde. Natuurkunde, Informatica of Onderzoek & Ontwerpen? Of heb je werkervaring in de bètawetenschappen en wil je graag overstappen naar het onderwijs? Dan is een zij-instroom traject van de Universiteit Twente wellicht iets voor jou!

Als zij-instromer behaal je binnen maximaal twee jaar je lesbevoegdheid en geef je tegelijkertijd al (betaald) parttime les in het voortgezet onderwijs.

Benieuwd of het onderwijs bij jou past? Op woensdag 5 maart organiseert Universiteit Twente van 19:00 – 21:00 een online informatieavond voor zij-instromers.

What to expect?

The programme of a Taster Day differs per study. In general, it looks as follows:

  • Might a Taster Day be interesting for you?

    A Taster Day is meant for bachelor's and master's seekers with a serious interest in a specific study programme. After this experience, you will have a good picture of the studies and you can apply confidently.

    Coming from abroad? If a Taster Day takes place on our campus (and not online), an online meet-up with one of our students is also a great option to get to know the studies you are excited about. Sign up for an online meet-up!

  • When does a Taster Day take place?

    Taster Days are organised at various times throughout the year. Check the overview to see on which dates the studies of your interest organise a Taster Day. 

Is your favourite study not listed?
