First Generation students are students who are the first in their family to attend a college or university. This can lead to you feeling uncomfortable at university, having to deal with different expectations from your parents and / or other problems.
Well-known examples of First Generation students are our fiction heroine Matilda, Einstein and Michelle Obama. Do you happen to be a Dutch First Generation student?
