From February, the education of ECIU University will open up to UT students. As part of a multidisciplinary and international team, you get to work on global issues at the local, national and international level. You utilise a challenge-based approach for this, a new way of teaching. How it exactly works, can be seen here.
As the name suggests, challenge-based learning is all about challenges. It's about real, existing issues from the world around us. Challenges are provided by companies and governments. And, they ask you as a student to apply your knowledge and skills and contribute to solutions.
Bringing students and scientists together with government, businesses and citizens is at the core of ECIU University and necessary as well. Challenges in our society are complex and far-reaching. Global issues call for a local, regional or international approach. And for a new way of working. This means you not only collaborate with students from e.g. Italy, France, Lithuania and Portugal, but also with people from the field, including municipalities, businesses, experts and social organisations. Through close and comprehensive collaboration, you can contribute to the resolution of complex real-life challenges and help to build a better society for everyone.
