Re-enrolment

Do you want to continue your studies in the coming academic year? For example, the second year of your bachelor's or master's?

Then you have to re-enrol.

How to re-enrol?

Here is a step-by-step guide to guide you through the re-enrolment process.

  • 1. Studielink

Go to Studielink and log in.

  • 2. Arrange your re-enrolment

In Studielink, click on ‘arrange your re-enrolment'. You will see your study programme on the left-hand side. Click on the button 're-enrol' and select 'Yes, I want to re-enrol’. Click on 'I confirm my choice’, answer any questions about the institution, and click on confirm.

  • 3. Check the progress

After your confirmation, your request will be processed. You can follow the progress of your re-enrolment request on the Studielink dashboard.

  • 4. Tuition fees

You will receive a message about the amount of your tuition fees. This may take some time. Confirm your digital authorisation and pay the tuition fees. If you have not (yet) paid your tuition fees, you will not be officially enrolled at UT.

  • 5. Check the status

Check your re-enrolment status in Studielink. If you are 'enrolled', then your re-enrolment is complete.

Please make sure your e-mail address in Studielink is up to date. Updates about your enrolment will be sent to that e-mail address.

  • Transfer programme or enrol in additional programmes within UT

In Studielink, it is only possible to enrol for a Bachelor in September, and enrol for a master in September or February. It could occur that you want to switch to a different study programme, or take on a double-degree. Waiting for the next intake is not always convenient. At UT, it is possible to transfer to another programme, or enrol in an additional program, starting the next month after submitting your request.

Please note that your studyadvisor should be informed about your desire to transfer or enrol in an additional programme. The study advisor should provide consent.

Use the ‘Enrolment request for a second programme at the University of Twente’ form for transfers or enrol in additional programmes within the university. Please send the original form to Student Services. For transfers by 1 February, please make a request via Studielink.
