-CLOSED- How about a good old age? Join the research

UT researchers appeal to your imagination: what does a good old age look like? Together with Tubantia, the UT researchers for the Neenzaam project are calling on people to use their imagination to come up with innovations that make for a nice old age.

citizens in science

The study is part of a major European research project in twelve countries. The research, Pharaon, supports self-reliance, safety, participation and wanting to belong. The UT is leading the research in the Netherlands, with on board assistant professor and DesignLab research fellow Femke Nijboer, students of Creative Technology and Industrial Design Engineering.

Interestingly, the idea for this project came from student Sefora Tunc, as final assignment for DesignLab's Master-Insert Programme on Shaping Responsible Futures that she completed earlier this month.

The team is now looking for solutions, and anyone can contribute. This way of working is exemplary for the citizen science approach that UT stands for. Read the full article in Tubantia (in Dutch).
