introduction
Transdisciplinary education is one of the most exciting educational innovations of the 2020s. Students, teachers and stakeholders of different disciplines and backgrounds learn how to collaborate with each other, to tackle complex challenges, and to make a real difference in society. Transdisciplinary education works on societal challenges, but developing and implementing such an innovative form of education is also a challenge in itself. How can you make it work for students and other learners, and how can you embed it successfully in curricula and organizations? This symposium presents a number of interactive workshops (partly Dutch, partly English), offered by frontrunners in transdisciplinary education and experts in educational innovation. They will share, discuss and let you experience the results and work-in-progress of recent research and innovation projects. In these workshops, you will be provided with inspiration and hands-on experiences, on transdisciplinary education and other educational innovations, but also with some critical reflections.
