Network and Exchange Event on Citizen Science

You are warmly invited to join us for an engaging Network and Exchange Event centered around the theme of Citizen Science. This event promises a unique opportunity to delve into the evolving landscape of Open Science and Citizen Science, both in Twente and beyond. 

What to Expect: 

• Insights into Open Science and Citizen Science: Gain valuable insights into the field of Open Science and Citizen Science and how the Team Open Science NL is supporting this by keynote speaker Frederike Schmitz from NWO.  
• Exploring Citizen Science in the region: Discover how Citizen Science initiatives are making an impact regionally with ‘Civic and Citizen Science’ projects, where UT researchers work together with citizens, and get to know the local ‘Samen onderzoek doen’ community that is promoting research between by professional and nonprofessional researchers. Speakers from Civic and Citizen Science projects, Joost Kuijper from the Province of Overijssel and from ‘Samen onderzoek doen’.  
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow researchers, community members, and professionals about Citizen Science. Forge new connections, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations that extend beyond the event.
