Symposium: the Ethics of Science in Society – Lessons from the Pandemic

This event is organized by the UNESCO World Commission for the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST) and the DesignLab of the University of Twente, in preparation of a report on the ethical implications of the changing relations between science and society.

The symposium provides a forum for discussion on the impact that the COVID-19 Pandemic has had on scientific practice and on the interactions between science and society.

This public event will include presentations on the Impact of COVID-19 on Science, Doing Ethics of Science and Scientific Values and the Value of Science.

The symposium will be held on Monday 30 May 2022 between 13h00 and 17h30 CET in University of Twente’s DesignLab (room INFORM)
