This open lecture is part of the Master Honours Design Track. In this track talented students develop their design thinking skills in a realistic case-study, in which they research, design and develop a new product concept that contibutes to solving one of the major complex societal challenges that the world of today is faced with.
In the lecture Design for Engagement assoc. prof. Geke Ludden of the department of Design Production and Management will present a number of compelling design studies that illustrate theoretically grounded strategies with which designers may create engaging products and services. Through creating engaging interactions such products and services may help to transform people's behaviors, attitude and mindsets, for example in the context of healthy living and well-being.
