Co-creation is an integral part of our work.
At the BMS Lab, co-creation is at the heart of everything we do. As the innovation hub of the BMS Faculty, we work together with researchers, students and external partners on solutions to societal challenges. Always connecting people, research and technology to create meaningful impact.
We support the full research process
From the first idea to the final output, the BMS Lab supports you throughout your project. This includes proposal development and funding support, research design and technical advice, as well as access to advanced equipment, software, facilities and secure data solutions.
BMS faculty & UT researchers
If you work at the BMS Faculty or elsewhere at UT, we help you with:
- technical and research design support
- development and implementation assistance
- tailored data storage and processing solutions
- advice on funding applications in selected cases
Once your project is registered, you can make use of our equipment and facilities. Funding conditions depend on the scope and nature of your project. You can also get access to practical guidance through Canvas courses and the Infohub, where you’ll find tutorials and manuals.
Before you start, ethical approval and compliance with University of Twente, the BMS Faculty and the BMS Lab policies are required.
External collaborators
We also collaborate with external partners, including companies, universities and research institutes. Our facilities, equipment, software and expertise are available when your project aligns with our mission and expertise. If that’s the case, we invite you to get in touch to explore collaboration opportunities.
External partners are expected to comply with the general conditions and requirements of the University of Twente, the BMS Faculty and the BMS Lab.
