You may have heard the news: the University of Twente is introducing Crowdtech as new survey software. This means we need to explore together whether the research we currently conduct with Qualtrics can also be carried out effectively with Crowdtech. What already works well? Where do we see limitations?
We will continue to have access to Qualtrics until October 2026. However, it is important to find out now whether Crowdtech fully meets our research needs as soon as possible. If not, we want to be ready to discuss an extension of the Qualtrics license in good time.
Training & support
UT Survey Support is organizing practical support sessions together with Crowdtech. During these sessions you can enter your own surveys into Crowdtech, get advice on translating your Qualtrics surveys, and learn how to make the most of the new system. We warmly encourage you to make use of this support โ both for your own research and for student projects.
Want to get started well prepared? Join one of the upcoming training sessions!
๐ Hands-on session: Longitudinal Research
This hands-on session explains how to input your survey into Crowdtech, specifically for surveys conducted over an extended period.ย Crowdtech trainers will demonstrate how to enter complex questions; you can enter simpler questions yourself, with guidance. A great opportunity to input your survey into the new system in a short amount of time. This session is open to everyone who regularly uses recurring surveys โ not only researchers.ย

Contribute your ideas for BMS Research Training
We are considering organizing additional BMS Research Training sessions on the use of Crowdtech for research. Do you have ideas or expectations for such sessions, and what is considered as a good time (day/week/month) in the semester to organize such sessions? Please share them with us via research-support-bms@utwente.nl
