Two bachelor’s programmes from the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) at the University of Twente have been awarded the prestigious Top-rated Programme designation in the latest edition of the Keuzegids Universiteiten. This designation recognises programmes that perform exceptionally well in the annual Dutch study comparison guide.
The following BMS programmes have received the Top-rated distinction:
- Management, Society & Technology – 80 out of 100 points
- Communication Science – 76 out of 100 points
These scores place both programmes among the top performers in the Netherlands. Bachelor’s programmes that score 75 points or higher in the Keuzegids rankings are awarded the Top-rated status.

A Trusted Indicator of Educational Quality
The Keuzegids Universiteiten provides an annual comparison of all bachelor’s programmes at Dutch universities. The rankings are primarily based on data from the National Student Survey (Nationale Studenten Enquête), where students share feedback on aspects such as teaching quality and academic support. This feedback is a critical benchmark and helps universities improve their programmes in collaboration with students and study associations.
