On June 18–19, the second meeting of the FOSSTER Alliance, the BMS initiated network of socio-technical faculties within technical universities, took place at the Bovisa campus of Politecnico di Milano.
Representatives from Brno University of Technology, Denmark Technical University, IST Lisboa, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Politecnico di Milano, Politehnica University of Bucharest, RWTH Aachen University, Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology, and University of Twente came together to explore new opportunities for collaboration.
Key topics included the exchange of knowledge and lab facilities, as well as the mobility of students, PhD candidates, and staff across institutions. A highlight of the meeting was a dedicated session on the development of a joint COST Action proposal, aimed at fostering cross-border mobility within research and innovation.
From the BMS Smart Industry theme, Rainer Harms, Pauline Weritz, and Vincent Delke will take the lead in drafting this collaborative grant proposal, an exciting step forward for the alliance, where all participating faculties can benefit from!
