More support capacity for Dutch research grant applications

The Grants Office has been expanded with two new employees. The Grants Office falls under the Strategic Business Development (SBD) department and supports researchers, faculties and institutes in the various stages of funding applications.

This summer Noortje van de Knaap and Sanne de Wit were added to the team that will focus primarily on the Dutch financing landscape. Their arrival gives the opportunity to offer extra support to researchers who wish to apply for a Dutch research grant.

Introduction

Noortje van der Knaap has worked at the Dutch Research Council (NWO), where she has experienced the funding process from within. Sanne de Wit has a PhD from the University of Twente and is now coordinating support for the NWO Veni Talent Scheme. Together with Arend Zomer, they will provide support for all Dutch subsidies. What is your research idea?

The Grants Office team is active throughout the UT. We offer help in every phase in preparation for submitting your Dutch or European grant application. Come by to find the best financing instrument for your research, ask a quick question, discuss your research idea, or go through your application together. We also offer various training courses for candidates who are submitting to personal grants from NWO or EU. When a consortium application has been granted, there are possibilities to provide further support for project management.
