Publication: Fluorescent protein dark fraction measured and compared by two methods ACS Journal of Physical Chemisty: B

In this publication NBP researchers measured the fraction of non-emitting fluorescent proteins (EGFP, SYFP2, mStrawberry and mRFP1). They measured the fractions by two independed methods 1) two-color coinicidence detections and 2) measurement of the brightstate quantum yield by photonic manipilation.

Measurement of the dark fractrions by both methods come in good agreement with each other.
