A μGC system fabricated by our group has been included as the second column in a comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC × μGC) system. The μGC system comprising radially elongated pillars (REPs) has many advantages over conventional GC systems, such as large volume, high capacity, and short length, allowing for a short retention time. The results of the study performed with the CHIS group at the VUB (Belgium), and researchers from the Univ Rouen Normandie (France) are published in Analytical Chemistry.
