Strategic Impulse for MIRA research

Recently MIRA invited her researchers to submit research ideas in the Strategic Stimulation Call 2016. In this call research initiatives are stimulated that contribute to the MIRA long term strategy; strengthening the current research themes ‘Bionanotech & Advanced Biomanufacturing’, ‘Imaging & Diagnostics’ and ‘Neural & Motor Systems’, or explore possible new areas in research or application.

Professor dr. Albert van den Berg, Scientific Director MIRA: “With the available resources we aim to invest in new scientific innovations and further interdisciplinary collaborations. This will further strengthen the research themes or create new ones. In that way we ensure a successful continuation of the outstanding research and infrastructure of the MIRA Institute." Some of the research ideas are in collaboration with the MESA+ Institute and the hospital MST.
