The University of Twente has recently joined the FutueLearn Campus program. This means UT students and staff can now follow short courses from institutions that also participate in the FutureLearn Campus program, for free! At the same time, the program allows the University of Twente to open up its online courses to participants from partner institutions. Currently, there are over 417 courses available within the FutureLearn Campus program, and there's no need to pay for the certificate.
Sharing resources this way is a fantastic opportunity to present specialized courses for the benefit of more learners, and to reduce the duplication of standard courses that all institutions offer in some shape or form. Utilizing FutureLearn Campus also means we can monitor the progression and experience of participants of our own UT courses, using the Learner Manager tool.
To gain unlimited access to the courses available through FutureLearn Campus, students and staff are required to use the ‘sign in with you organisation’ (Single Sign-On) option to sign into the FutureLearn platform (use utwente.nl as the domain name). If you already have a FutureLearn account with your UT email address, this will be merged into one account after signing in with your organisation. If you already have a FutueLearn account with your private email address, then this will remain a separate account besides your organisation account.
If you have any questions regarding the Futurelearn Campus program or Single Sign-On process, please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
