The Energy Efficiency Plan 2017 - 2020 contains a number of measures that the University of Twente will take to reduce energy consumption and the carbon footprint.
The UT does this by
- Managing processes more efficiently (e.g. by using smarter software when planning transport routes),
- implement energy-saving measures (such as switching to LED lamps for outdoor lighting) and
- improve work processes (e.g. by encouraging videoconferencing to reduce travel).
