Sports
Even if you’re not a member of the university you can purchase a sports card for the Sports Centre so that you use the sports facilities of the UT. For more information see www.utwente.nl/campuscard. The halls and rooms of the Sports Centre can be hired for things like corporate events etc. Check out the Sports Centre website to see all the possibilities.
Culture
VRIJHOF cultural centre organizes a wide range of performances and shows that are open to a wide public. For a current overview see www.utwente.nl/culture. The (theatre) auditoriums of VRIJHOF can also be booked by groups from outside the university.
Every month VRIJHOF presents new exhibitions, with the aim of providing the widest possible range of content. The exhibitions and openings are open to everyone who is interested. Check out the VRIJHOF calendar for the current exhibitions.
Campus tours for groups
Send an e-mail to campus@utwente.nl to book guided campus tours for groups. In some cases, it’s also possible to arrange a guided tour of the research facilities, such as the Nanolab on the campus.

Studium Generale
Studium Generale organizes lectures in the Vrijhof cultural centre. These lectures are open to the general public. See www.utwente.nl/sg for the current programme.
