At the robotics centre experts from the field work together with top scientists to make a positive impact and improve the wellbeing of people through robotics.
The rapid developments in the robotics domain ask for key partnerships and joint innovation processes to accelerate successful developments and commercialization of innovations. The development of new products should start with an idea for a new product linked to the market and its end users. Therefore, end users, asset owners and service suppliers play an important role in the process of innovation.
New technologies with the potential to become radical innovations, face difficulties in startups, SMEs and large corporations. Independently of the company size or type, a new technology at the prototype phase needs to be linked to external resources, potential users, testing and piloting facilities and an initial market. This means that a joint innovation process with research institutes and commercial companies is key for accelerating the development and commercialization of innovations.
