Do you have what it takes to recruit young talent from all over the world? Because that’s one of the daily jobs of our Marketing team: making sure that prospective bachelor’s and master’s students make the right choice so that they can contribute to a fair, sustainable and digital world.
To strengthen our team, we’re looking for an:
Education Marketing copywriter (preferably full-time)
Is writing your passion? And do you have the English skills to deliver flawless copy that can entice both Dutch and international students? Our Marketing department is looking for a new colleague who can write snappy, head-turning web texts for our 37 masters and 78 specialisations. As an Education Marketing copywriter, you will be part of the Marketing team, working together closely with our content specialist, our online and educational marketers, and the project leader – because a big project calls for a big team!
Your focus will primarily be on independently creating informative online recruitment copy for our masters. As a copywriter, you are able to translate complex scientific jargon into attractive, readable texts, aimed at prospective master’s students. To make sure all your facts are straight, you will interview the programme coordinators and/or directors of each of our five faculties. You will then use your creativity to convert this input into well-written, SEO-proof content that gives both Dutch and international prospective students a good sense of what our masters and specialisations are like.
- You hold a relevant university-level degree in a field like journalism, linguistics or communication studies.
- You are a strong communicator and a brilliant writer in both Dutch and English.
- You preferably have prior experience as a copywriter.
- You can work independently and in a team. Also, you have a creative mind and a flexible attitude.
- You are able to relate to our young target group and have an affinity for the topics you’ll be writing about: new technology and science.
- You’re pleasant to talk to, but you also have a critical mindset and can function as a sounding board.
- Experience with working in a CMS is an advantage.
Do you think you have the writing skills we need to promote our masters? Send us your cover letter, CV and portfolio! Closing date: 6 April 2020 (we hope to welcome you as one of our new colleagues soon after).
