Over the past few weeks, hard work has been done by many working on the new mission, vision and strategy of the University of Twente. Within Shaping2030, various employees worked on further shaping the plans of the UT for the future.
New draft Mission and Vision
An updated version of the new Mission & Vision of the University of Twente is available, the so-called October 3 version. You can find this via the link below.
NEW STRATEGY
On Thursday 3 October, the Executive Board invited the team members of the various tracks for a breakfast session. On the one hand, to provide insight into how their work in recent months has been used to shape the new strategy, but also to discuss the continuation. Putting a strategy on paper is one, but implementation is the next step. The attendees showed great commitment and indicated that they would like to play a role in the follow-up process. Both in propagating the ideas and in forming a sounding board in the near future. You can find more about the working groups and the input they have generated on the Shaping2030 website.
A first version of the strategy document has been presented to the UT's Executive Board on 30 September. It will be a topic of discussion in a variety of platforms:
- Supervisory Board – 3 October
- Innovation Committee (UCI) – 7 October
- University Education Committee (UCOW) – 8 October
- University Operations Committee (UCB) – 8 October
- University Research Committee (UCOZ) – 15 oktober
This will lead to a new version that will be discussed in the University Council later this year.
