In 2025, the University of Twente went through a turbulent year, marked by far-reaching reorganisations, protest actions, and growing attention to social safety on campus. In this context, the OPUT put renewed energy into representing employees’ interests, engaging in dialogue with the Executive Board, and supporting colleagues wherever needed. This summary 2025 outlines the topics discussed in the Local Consultation, the activities OPUT organised for staff, and how the staff organisations contributed to a safe, fair, and future-proof working environment at the UT.
