Dear Colleagues,
Most engineering systems involve multiphase flows with either finite particles, drops, or bubbles distributing in a continuous phase or consisting of at least two continuous phases of different fluids separated by interfaces. Transport phenomena in multiphase flows affect numerous processes including chemical and sorption heat pumps, heat and cold storage, drying of granular materials in fluidized beds, thermal and chemical engineering reactors. This Special Issue aims to review the current state-of-the-art findings in analytical, numerical and experimental research, increasing the basic understanding of transport phenomena in multiphase flows. Researchers are invited to contribute their original research and review articles relevant to the scope of this Special Issue as specified in keywords.
