Another successful Bata for the DPM Runners Batavierenrace 2025

Last Friday and Saturday 9^th  and 10^th May, the 2025 Alternative Batavieren race took place.

 This year, the Bata was a 20h relay-race on campus, where teams competed to finish as many ~5km laps as possible.

 With an average speed of 11 km/h, the DPM Runners completed 43 laps – i.e. over 200 km!

We went faster than we thought and had to rely on some last-minute runners!

After the race, we of course finished with some relaxed food and drinks to recover on this beautiful hot day!

 Thank you very much to the Department for sponsoring the DPM Runners and to everyone who ran, cheered and supported us this year!
