General Information
The chair of Asset Management & Maintenance Engineering focusses on Maintenance Engineering and Design for Maintenance: developing a maintenance program for a given capital asset (e.g., a train, radar system, or chemical plant) and developing capital assets such that they can be maintained cost effectively throughout their useful life. Professional course - LONG LIFE LEARNING
The chair is organizing professional education with master classes. The master class series (8 x1,5 day) is called "Master Class Maintenance Engineering & Management" this program is based the famous 'Klaas Smit' course which is already 35 years being given to maintenance engineers and maintenance managers. The number of seats is limited, application is from april-august, with start in september/october. Contact Dr. Jan Braaksma (see below) for more information.
WORLD CLASS MAINTENANCE and WCM SUMMER SCHOOL
At a national level, the chair is working together with World Class Maintenance. In cooperation with WCM we organize already more than 10 year the successful WCM Summer School which is held every year in July or August and is intended for Master/ EngD/ PhD students and young professionals. Application is always open from April to mid June.
