MARID VIIIThe seabed of shallow seas, like the Dutch North Sea, is covered by bedforms, from ripples to sand banks, including tidal sand waves, which affect tidal flow. Riverbeds are also covered by dunes and scour holes, which can affect navigability or salinity distribution, for example. Bedforms definitely affect the nature around us, but do we know everything about them?
