The long journey of the special issue in the Journal of Transport Geography "The uneven geography of the accessibility and environmental quality in the Global North and South", which started with a NECTAR workshop at the University of Sao Paulo in 2017, comes to an end with the publication of the editorial. The special issue brings together as set of six papers:
