Human & Assistive Robots: Modelling & Learning Interactions
We sense, learn, and blend the human-machine interface for wearable technologies.
The scope of the lab includes
- Merging modelling and learning approaches for light-weight biomechanical models of movement
- Model-free multimodal learning of human-exosuit interactions for efficient and comfortable assistance
- Minimal sensing and modelling for inclusive applications
This group was established in February 2024. It is headed by Dr. ir. Mohamed Irfan Refai and is part of the Chair of Neuromuscular Robotics, embedded in the Department of Biomechanical Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Twente, The Netherlands.
