On Monday 7 July, Ana Flavia Martins Costa successfully defended her PhD thesis “RenOx: A Novel Artificial Lung Device with Integrated Kidney Support” with honors (“cum laude”) which she performed within the Engineering Organ Support Technologies group under supervision of Prof. J. Arens and Dr. F.R. Halfwerk.
