Introducing Adarsh Nanjaiya Latha – New PhD Candidate in the STEADFAST Project

We are delighted to welcome Adarsh Nanjaiya Latha as a new PhD candidate within the STEADFAST project!

Adarsh holds a strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with research interests that focus on robust and autonomous AI. Prior to joining the project, he was an intern at the ABB Corporate Research Center in India, where he developed an algorithm to mitigate the adversarial effects of data drift in federated learning environments by efficiently clustering similar clients. This work was showcased at CODS-COMAD 2024.

As part of STEADFAST, Adarsh is now working on finding efficient ways to fuse multimodal information from drone swarms to improve situational awareness in dynamic environments—an exciting and critical component of the project.

Outside of his research, Adarsh enjoys trekking and nature photography. The featured photo shows him at the peak of Anamudi Hills in Kerala, India—the highest point in South India—during a trek last year.

We are thrilled to have Adarsh on board and look forward to his contributions to the STEADFAST project!
