We are proud to share that our Pervasive Systems group will be presenting five workshop papers at UbiComp 2025 in Espoo, Finland!

  • Akhil’s paper: “BicycleSense360: Real-World Multi-Modal Naturalistic Cycling Data Acquisition and Synchronization System”
  • Ali's paper: "Immersive Bridge Inspection: Quantifying the Benefits of XR for Anomaly Detection"
  • Deepak's paper: “Pedaling Gossips: Towards Location-Privacy-Preserved Data Sharing with Smart Bicycles”
  • Gijs de Smit & Akhil's paper: “Predicting Ego Cyclist Trajectories Using Bicycle-Mounted Sensors with CNN-LSTM”
  • Siddharth & Akhil’s paper: “Head Movement-Based Visual Distraction Detection in Cyclists”

These papers reflect our group’s commitment to advancing research in mobility, sensing, AI, and privacy in real-world contexts. We are incredibly proud of our team, comprising Akhil, Ali, Deepak, Özlem, Yanqiu, and their collaborators, for their hard work and innovative contributions.

We are also excited to engage with the vibrant UbiComp community and look forward to the many inspiring presentations and discussions at the conference.
