Running Therapy for EEMCS students

The faculty of EEMCS has initiated a new program to create a better environment for students to excel by incorporating running therapy as a means to promote their mental health. Running therapy is a form of therapy that uses running or walking as a therapeutic activity to promote physical and mental well-being. It can help reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, increase overall well-being, and improve mood.

The program runs for one year, with the first 3 months being guided by a running therapist from Topvorm Twente, followed by the next 9 months being led by a student assistant trained by Topvorm Twente. Sessions take place every Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at U-track near Sports Centrum.

The first batch has already started, but students can still reserve their spot by contacting Renee@topvormtwente.nl or calling 053-7676020. There will be a total of 3 batches, with the next one starting in June and another in October. We look forward to working together towards progress and excellence, one step at a time!
