Federico Mazzone’s paper "Efficient Ranking, Order Statistics, and Sorting under CKKS" has been accepted at USENIX Security 2025! USENIX is one of the top conferences in cybersecurity, and we’re thrilled to see this research being recognized at such a prestigious venue.
In this paper, they introduce a new approach that breaks away from traditional swap-based methods for sorting under homomorphic encryption, reducing the comparison depth to a constant, and unlocking massive parallelism and hardware acceleration for privacy-preserving computations."
The co-authors of the paper are: Maarten Everts, University of Twente and Linksight; Florian Hahn, University of Twente; Andreas Peter, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg.
