On Wednesday 21 February 2018 BSS received a price during the meeting “Towards 100% Open access at the UT”. BSS had the best performance of open access publications within the EWI faculty.
Explanation of calculation of the percentage of OA publications per department
Determining the percentages of open accessible publications was done with the aid of the research registration system of the UT (Pure). That system is the basis for the presentation of UT publications in UT Research Information. The following criteria were applied:
- Open accessible full text
- Publication year 2016
- Publication type only: articles in scientific journal, contribution to conference bundle, conference paper, book chapter
- Organizational units (department / chair group) as stated in the publication, if necessary and possibly translated to current organizational unit.
