Save the date: Giving intersex experiences the spotlight The “FYI” program

What can you tell us about intersex people? Many abbreviations are used to try to capture the varied and colourful group that is the queer community, also known as LGBTQIA+. As Th!nk with Pride UT, we are actively creating a space for the full community, but for this event we want to put the spotlight on the I: intersex people. With the intersex flag (purple ring in yellow frame) now sometimes being part of the rainbow flag, it’s certainly time to learn more.

Join us at the showing of the “FYI” program! This collaboration sprouted in Amsterdam by three artists, they tell their stories through theatre, dance, and a mini-documentary. There will be time for questions at a panel discussion. We cordially invite you on the 17th of March to the Vrijhof at the University of Twente campus, to get inspired by the “FYI” program and ask all questions you have about intersex people, issues, and experiences. If you wish to join, registration would be much appreciated.

This is an open event, everyone is welcome, queer and ally! Whether you work or study at UT, Saxion, live at any random village in Twente, feel free to join!
