Let’s colour the UT purple! Purple Friday, solidarity with the LGBTQI+ community

Each year, on the second Friday of December, Purple Friday is being celebrated. The name of this special day comes from wearing purple to show solidarity with the LGBTQI+ community, mostly at educational institutions. As UT, we want to amplify this message: it is of utmost importance that LGBTQI+ students feel welcome and appreciated in their educational institutions!

Come visit our stand this Friday (the 9th) at the Waaier entrance during the lunchbreak! We are happy to hear your suggestions, questions, or just show off your best purple outfit. See you there! If you are not on campus, you can show solidarity by wearing purple during your online meetings, or use the Teams background attached to this message.
