During regular maintenance, employees of the Cubicus building have found asbestos in some of the technical rooms. Precautions have been taken to ensure users of the building will not get in contact with the material.
The specific rooms are only accessible to a limited number of people. They have been informed and have received the required instructions.
As is required in the case of finding asbestos, the case has been reported to the national asbestos registration system (Landelijk asbestvolgsysteem, Lavs). In the coming days, experts in protective outfits will be present to remove the asbestos from the building.
