The student led design of Connect and Play
For this episode: “How to Build for Collaboration: The student led design of Connect and Play rooms in DesignLab”, we've invited Pieter and Dirk to share with us their experiences designing and executing the interior of two unique rooms. By building a large and multifunctional collaborative space, as well as, a small-group brainstorm room, Pieter and Dirk faced challenges that a student rarely is entrusted to overcome. Like, for example handling big budgets and hiring contractors.
They made a success happen and even received a proposal for patenting their designs. They also wanted to make clear that this success has been a team effort and kindly provided us with the names of the people involved. DesignLab Brew
The DesignLab Brew is born out of our need to reach out to our community and have interesting informal discussions about our experiences. The Designlab as a facility is now either closed or very limited in capacity. It's the physical space where conversations about project ideas, and knowledge gained from them, were made.
