3D printed fractal

Thanks to the DesignLab, we were able to print this 3D Sierpinski fractal.

In our group Optical Sciences, Dan Chen worked on Sierpinski carpet antennas: nanoscale objects that can capture electromagnetic radiation from a broad range of optical frequencies. On the occasion of his Ph.D defense, he got this 3D structure as a gift.

Printing the 3D fractal was challenging but the DesingLab staff helped us out, a very positive experience.
