Initiator Sabine Wildevuur: "Our citizen science hub in Twente helps to spur on a movement, by providing a good infrastructure based on knowledge, and connecting with people. We will start a big European project ‘INCENTIVE’ in February 2021, with hubs being built in four different countries."

Hundreds of people living in Twente took part in the field test, to further develop the notification app called 'CoronaMelder'. Developers worked on the safety, privacy and user experience. Lisette van Gemert-Pijnen, Professor of Health technology at the faculty ET, explains.
