Applying the JRC SES Game in regional multi-stakeholder dialogues for an inclusive green transition The EWOR 2022 side event

RRI2SCALE is inviting you to the side event of EWOR 2022! The event falls under the thematic cluster of the “Green Transition” and it will have a form of an interactive workshop and be addressed primarily to regional and local policymakers, urban planners, and civil servants, but anyone interested in regional policymaking is welcomed! Join us on the 24th of October, 11:00-12:30

What is the event?

This workshop is based on the RRI2SCALE project that aims to relate RRI to regional innovation policy making and how to engage with a wider representation of stakeholders. In early 2022, four European regions ran their own multi-stakeholder dialogue (MSD) using the Scenario Exploration System (SES) tool from the JRC. A brief training will be delivered, followed by a simulation of applying the SES tool in regional MSD to explore divergent techno-moral scenarios and co-design inclusive green transition agendas with local stakeholders. The target group for the event is EU regional authorities interested in inclusive green policy agendas.

What are EWOR 2022 side events?

The #EURegionsWeek 2022 – the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy – will take place from 10 to 13 October 2022. In case you have missed the deadline for applying to the core sessions, you can still be associated with this years’ European Week of Regions and Cities by applying for a side event!

The side events are related to the thematic priorities of the #EURegionsWeek 2022 and they must be organised between 10 October and 10 November 2022.
