Sign up now for the next Scientific Integrity Programme on 8 November

On 8 November 2021, from 12.00 – 17.00, the next scientific integrity programme for academic staff is organised in the U Parkhotel on our campus. By attending this programme you will be up to date with the latest standards and current legal frameworks for integrity. During the programme there is an opportunity to discuss and deal with difficult dilemmas through open dialogue with colleagues.

The Scientific Integrity programme consists of two parts, namely an online component and a workhop.

  1. The online component’s main goal is to help you navigate the modern, high-pressure, highly results-driven world of academic research. If you completed this online component you can attend the workshop.
  2. The workshop* focusses on providing you with skills, reasoning abilities and strategies for applying scientific integrity principles and standards in their own contexts to various situations.

The next workshop will run on 8 November 2021 at the U Parkhotel. Sign up here for the half day workshop

*Note for PhD and PDEng candidates: The Scientific Integrity workshop is also available as follow-up activity for PhD and PDEng candidates who have successfully completed their Academic Integrity module connected to the TGS introductory workshop (part of the mandatory TGS courses). The EC’s gained with this Scientific Integrity workshop can be added to the courses portfolio (T&SP).

More information on how we all contribute to building a House of Integrity
Find more information online about the programmatic approach of building a House of Integrity. You can watch the videos of colleagues and find out how they deal with difficult dilemmas. We also invite you to engage in further discussions about integrity with your colleagues and to open a dialogue on dilemmas. By doing so we all contribute to a UT community that is safe and aware of ethical standards.
