For students and employees
Mac users
Due to a vulnerability in the Follow-me print environment, the security is being increased. This will be active as of Monday 21 February. After the security is increased, it is no longer possible to print from MacOS clients via SMB. In order to continue printing with a Mac, the already installed Follow-me printer must be removed first and reconfigured with different settings. Mac users can use the following manual: Printing from a Mac.
Windows users
Windows users should update their system to a Microsoft supported version with recent Windows updates.
For employees
No action needs to be taken on UT managed Windows workstations, these will be automatically updated.
