Currently a BlackBoard phishing attack is happening at Dutch universities.
Students are tempted to click on a link that brings them to a phishing site in an attempt to get their account information. Currently, the phishing site differs from the University's standard BlackBoardsite. However, it is very easy to copy this.
What is dangerous with the current phishing attack is the fact that, after entering your username and password, you are immediatly logged into the original BlackBoard site. Normally you will get an error message and you have to log into the real site again.
Always note that if you enter your username and password the URL of the website contains the text "utwente.nl/" in the name of the website itself.
