The "Stay Abroad for PhDs" webpage has been launched! This page on the BMS intranet provides comprehensive information about conducting research partly abroad during your PhD. What are the benefits? And what opportunities are available? You will also find information on what to arrange in advance. In addition, you can read a number of stories about your experiences. This will give PhD students an idea of what a stay abroad can be like.
The duration, content and purpose of the stay abroad may vary from person to person, but in any case it offers several advantages. For example, during your stay you become part of another academic community, gain new perspectives and expand your academic network. Moreover, it contributes to your personal growth. Last but not least; it's just plain fun!
This launch of this webpage follows the approval of the BMS Internationalisation Strategy 2022-2030 by the Faculty Board in May 2022. One of the main goals of this strategy is to support BMS staff in building new international networks. In addition, it contributes to the growth of a global network for faculty.
