Are you the new Faces of Science? Internal deadline 15 Dec note: for Dutch-speaking PhDs!

FACES OF SCIENCE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW PHD'S TO GIVE A SNEAK PEAK IN THEIR LIVES AS A RESEARCHER!

Twelve new Faces of Science positions can be nominated, PhDs representing different disciplines, universities and study backgrounds. Curious? Look at the Faces of Science via YouTube, Twitter or Instagram.

Faces of Sciences is an online platform where PhDs by means of Blogs, video's and articles give an insight into their lives and research. The target group is mainly secondary school students (VWO-grade) and first-year students, but also VWO teachers, wider public and media. Faces of Science is a joint effort of KNAW, De Jonge Akademie and NEMO Kennislink and financed by Stichting Lira Auteursfonds Reprorecht.

In 2020 Judith Austin (PHT department) was one of the new Faces of Science! Our Faculty have had previous Faces of Science positions with Koen de Koning (CSTM department) and Liza Cornet (PCRS department).

NOTE: all communication is in Dutch, so you need to have a good command of Dutch.

Show your motivation, get in contact!

We can nominate 1 candidate as faculty, get in contact with Lyan Kamphuis-Blikman to express your interest and your motivation, do this before 15 December! This is the internal deadline, in case we have to choose out of more candidates.
